In the spirit of Friday, here are some fun fitness facts I’d like to share with all my wonderful readers. They are all pretty amazing, and some really surprised me. Glad I know about them now 🙂
1). You would need to drink a quart of milk everyday for 3 to 4 months to drink as much blood as your heart pumps in one hour! WOW!
2). Muscle is three times more efficient at burning calories than fat – Go get some biceps curls in!
3). The human body has more than 650 muscles – Now that’s pretty amazing! Are you taking good care of them?
4). Your heart is the strongest muscle of your body and beats about 100,000 times in a day, in an average adult – Cardio-vascular exercises are imperative for a healthy heart! Now get down and give me some push-ups!
5). If you are 25lbs overweight, you have nearly 5000 extra miles of blood vessels through which your heart must pump blood – Do your heart a favor – go easy on it, and lead a healthy life 🙂
