I LOVE this abdominal workout! Why? Because it works both the upper and lower body at the same time and saves me time! It also works the lower back muscles and strengthens them. If you try to hold this pose on your way up, it works the thighs as well. I typically do 50 of those everyday.
And just like any other ab exercise, it is important to ensure that you have the correct posture for this exercise. It is tad more important to have a perfect posture for this one as this can put pressure on your lower back, causing potential injuries.
