Hi There!

Standard

Hey All! Yep, I know! I kinda fell off the Earth for a while there. But just so you guys know, I did not literally fall off the Earth! I mean, I cant. The Earth is round!
Jokes apart! For the last month, I have been extremely busy with something called “life”. Yep, it happened to me again. One of those times when all kinds of situations fall on your lap, all at once. But lets not get into that too much. All I can say, everythings fine and pleasant now!

So lets touch base and chit chat a little. I’ll start first!
Well some good news – I finished P90X3 and I could not be happier! I am pretty sure BeachBody will very soon give me an award of some sort, since I am quite close on having completed almost all of it’s workout programs. Yay for that!

Since I finished that, I wanted to pick something up again. And this time I went for Body Beast! I know it’s crazy tough, but I am so glad I have taken up the challenge. It is a 12 week program (quite a long one), and when I am done, I am hoping to have more muscle mass. My next step will be the CUTTING PHASE when I will be focusing on some sort of a HIIT training program like Insanity, to get greater definition. Yep I have a whole plan laid out!

It was my birthday yesterday, and here’s what my awesome husband gifted me! Yes he knows me well, and is my greatest cheer leader who constantly encourages me to reach my goals, and assists me throughout!

On the diet front, I’ve been focusing on a protein based diet. But I have gotta say, I’ve been bad about eating my vegetables. So my April goal is to incorporate more veggies! I started it off by making an awesome dinner this evening. Yummy mediterranean salad with meatless chicken patties and some more veggies! Lip smackingly delish stuff! I will post my salad recipe soon.

Lately, my hubs and I have been working on making it a point to be more grateful for our lives and what we have! We have really seen the difference. We are much much happier! So I invite you guys to do the same – be grateful, and take out time for it each day!

Hope you guys have been doing well! 🙂

Stay happy, stay healthy!

About pallavisharma

Welcome to my blog! Apart from being a health and fitness freak, I love writing, and this blog is a perfect outlet for it. I am not a professional writer by any means, but would like to be someday, so I can inspire people far and wide. I am a project manager by day, and go to business school at night. I am happily married to the love of my life, and thoroughly enjoy being a stepmom to two of the most wonderful kids I know. The goal of my blog is just one word – INSPIRE. If I was able to help even one person enough to get them to change their life around for the better, I would consider myself extremely fortunate. I am super thankful to all my readers who have given me so much love and encouragement through the years. You guys rock! I will leave you with one quote – “Monotony is the awful reward of the careful. If you want to change and grow, you need to take risk” – John C. Maxwell
